The 24K-WebDesign Team

24K-webdesign, is led by Bob Schwartz. He had a 35 year career at IBM before retiring and starting his web design business.

At IBM he had a diverse set of management assignments spanning hardware, software and services with focus on product planning and marketing. One assignment led to the planning and launch of the IBM/Sears Prodigy offering which was a pioneer online web offering before AOL. His last 13 years at IBM were in the Content Management arena. IBM Content Management included imaging, document management audio, video and web content management. He was the Worldwide Marketing Manager for IBM Content Management. The IBM Content Management business grew ten-fold during that time.

Since 2002 and the launch of 24K-webdesign the company has designed and implemented websites for a diverse array of small businesses. Bob really enjoys helping small businesses get online.

24K-webdesign works with two key partners:

Howie Hunger is our software development leader. Howie’s career spans activities including executive management positions at IBM and Neoware Systems.  His long-term focus on database and cloud based computing provides him with unique skills and insight to provide clients with high value, low cost, business solutions.

Howie began his career at IBM supporting customers in New York City and then expanded to being the IBM database specialist in the New York Region.  His career then broadened to include working with software vendors worldwide.  Howie was the worldwide marketing director for IBM and then the Executive Vice President for Neoware for thin clients.  Thin clients are devices which focus on using browsers and internet driven data (i.e. cloud based computing).

Howie has been designing and implementing content management, data driven websites since 2004.

Lauren Clayton is our graphics design leader. She is the  founder and head designer of Studio 162. She studied graphic design, photography and printmaking at the Cooper Union School of Art in NYC. After writing an award winning business plan, she launched Studio 162 in 2003, first specializing in custom heirloom books. She is an alumna of the Jackie Robinson Foundation, a national foundation, awarding scholarships to minority high school students who have excelled academically and in their community.
